EMS

The Mount Vernon Fire Department provides Emergency Medical Services including response, prevention, and education to the city of Mount Vernon, Pleasant Township, Clinton Township, Liberty Township, and the southern half of Morris Township. We are also contracted for service to the Mount Vernon Developmental Center and the Knox County Regional Airport.

We have three Advanced Life Support Medics and one Advanced Life Support Engine. The majority of our personnel are trained as paramedics. We strive to provide exceptional pre-hospital care to our customers.
