Auditor

The City Auditor's main responsibility is to protect and enhance the fiscal integrity of the city, while promoting city-wide initiatives. The Auditor's office also provides payroll services for the City.

The City Auditor's office is divided into four sections: financial management, debt management, grants management, and information systems. 

  • The mission of the financial management section is to promote and effect informed financial decisions and the allocation of resources through the provision of sound information and advice.
  • The grants management section strives to ensure and maximize the availability of grant funds.
  • The debt management section seeks to maximize resources available to support current and future capital improvement initiatives.
  • The mission of the information systems section is to improve the city's access to vital information through the development of city-wide computerization systems.
