Overview
This commission makes recommendations for utilities projects to City Council, hears appeals from residents and customers regarding city utilities, and sets administrative policies regarding public utilities. The commission has the authority to regulate the rates and the services of the water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities for users of the city utilities. The Utilities Commission will set the rate for the wastewater billing, whereas the City Council sets the rate for the water department and the stormwater department. The committee is chaired by the Safety-Service Director and includes both the Utilities Director and City Engineer as voting members, as well as a voting citizen member.

- Meetings are scheduled for the 1st Thursday of every month.
- Meetings are held in City Council Chambers.
